| Westbengal College/University Summer Vacation update Online Exam for Even Semester 2022 |
Although physical classes were introduced in colleges and universities in February, some students were pushing for the upcoming Even Semester (2nd/4th/6th/8th Semester) examinations to be conducted online. But various universities have stated the semester exams will not be online.
Meanwhile, due to heat wave in some districts of South Bengal, the state government has suggested to resume online classes in colleges and universities or to bring summer vacation forward. As a result, the campus has been closed from May 2 to June 15.

Westbengal College/University Exam 2022, Summer Vacation and Online Exam
Jadavpur University has already started offline exams in nine related branches despite various protests and agitation of 9/16 students of engineering. The same is supposed to happen in arts and sciences.
One and a half lakh students of 200 colleges under MAKAUT,WB - [Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology] will take the semester number 2, 4, 6 and 8 exams (2nd/4th/6th/8th Semester) online in June.
Vice Chancellor Saikat Maitra said, 'You have to test by turning on the camera from the app on laptop or mobile. Question in MCQ method. The answer is jumbled (mixed). The Artificial Intelligence Proctor method is used to monitor the examinees. If the students misbehave, the machine will stop the test after sending a certain number of warnings.”

Presidency University Examinations Controller Surjit Bhattacharya did not want to talk to the media about the examination system right now. However, veteran Professor Gandhi Karr demanded, "of course, examinations should be done offline."
Vice Chancellor of Burdwan University Nimaichandra Saha said that no decision has been taken yet on the examination. I want to see exactly what the higher education department is saying and what other universities are doing.
Vidyasagar University Vice-Chancellor Shivaji Pratim Basu commented, "Everything depends on the government's advice and the cowardly situation. We are ready both offline and online. '

Westbengal Summer Vacation Update for College & University Students
Generally Summer Vacation is only for School Students, At College or University level, there is no Summer Vacation. There has a Semester break as a Summer vacation 🙂 As per Bikash Bhaban, College and University will continue there class in Online Mode.
Also they can Conduct their Semester Exam through Online Mode 😊
