"OASIS" is One of the most Popular State funded scholarship of Westbengal for Backward Class and Economically weak Students. The full form of OASIS is 'Online Application for Scholarship in Studies'. It is Divided in Two Parts, i) Pre Matric & ii) Post Matric.

OASIS Post Matric Scholarship

In Madhyamik Standard School Level it is Called as Pre Matric, Which is Also known as "Sikhyashree Prakalpa Scholarship".
After Madhyamik it is Called Post matric Scholarship. 

The objective of  OASIS Post Matric Scholarship Scheme is to provide financial assistance to Westbengal SC/ST/O.B.C. students to complete their education. The scholarship is given for study in recognized educational institutions.

Eligibility for OASIS Post Matric Scholarship

Before Apply for OASIS post matric Scholarship you need to Confirm this Following Eligibility Criteria :
  1. You Must Be a Permanent Domicile of Westbengal State
  2. The annual Income of your Family should no more than 2 Lakh
  3. You have to Belong from SC/ST/OBC Category or any sub category of this Branch
  4. You have to Score At least 50% Marks or Equivalent CGPA [6 SGPA per semester] in you last final Examination
  5. You have to Pursue Your course from a Recognized Institution.
  6. You have to Register yourself in OASIS portal and Submit your Fresh/Renewal Application with in Time to Your Institution or College.
  7. You must Have your Own Bank Passbook with Valid Credit Limit.

Application Process: How to Apply for OASIS 2021-22 (*Fresh & Renewal)

Here is the Step by Step Process for the Fresh and Renewal application of OASIS Post matric Scholarship.
The Registration and Application process Already Started on @oasis.gov.in from 1st week of July for this Session.

Step1. At first you Have to Register Yourself at OASIS  Portal as a Fresh Applicant. If you applied before, then Log in with your Previous Application ID and Password.

OASIS Registration Fresh 2021-22


Step2. For fresh application fill your Educational Details and Generate ID & Password.
Step3. Then Log in and Fill Application Form Care Fully will Details.
Step4. After Complete Form Fill up Save and Print the 4 pages Application form for Next Steps.
Step5. In printed Application Form you Have to Sign and You Guardian also Sign in Self Declaration Section and Income Proforma.

Step6. After complete above steps you need to sign a page of that application form by Block-Secretory. Completed this Attested Process.
Step7. Then Collect all Below Document and Paste Photograph with Self Attested, and attach with this Application form.
Step8. You Have Done It. Now wait for your Intuition Notice for 'OASIS Application Form Submission' and Submit Your form to your Intuition/College.


Document Needed for OASIS 2021-22

Before apply for OASIS post matric Scholarship make sure that You have all Necessary document for application Submission. Please Check out Following List..

  2. Family Income Certificate
  3. Caste Certificate SC/ST/OBC Govt. Registered
  4. Recent Passport Photograph (4 copies)
  5. Address Proof [i.e. Given in Application Form, You have to Fill it and Signed from Authorized]
  6. Last Examination Passed Marksheet (50% Must)
