According to the official Updates, candidates pursuing 4-year UG courses (7th and 8th semesters) are permitted to appear for a maximum of 4 Backlog Theory papers. Similarly, students enrolled in 5-year UG courses (9th and 10th semesters) can also attempt a maximum of 4 Backlog Theory papers. What is Special Supplementary Exam in MAKAUT
Special Supplementary or Super Supple Exam in MAKAUT allows students pursuing 4-year UG courses to appear for a maximum of 4 Backlog Theory papers, offering them a chance to clear their backlogs and continue their academic progress without Losing a Year.
Those who have Backlog in 7th, 8th 9th or 10th Semester are advised to note the following:
- MAKAUT will publish Notice regarding PPR/PPS and Separate Supplementary Examination.
- Final Semester Students can choose either PPR/PPS or Separate Supplementary Examination (any one).
New Rules Conditions for Separate Supplementary Examination 2023

4-year UG courses (7th and 8th semesters) – a candidate can appear for maximum of 4 Backlog Theory papers.

5-year UG courses (9th and 10th semesters) – a candidate can appear maximum of 4 Backlog Theory papers.

If any student have Backlog in (1st to 6th Semester for B. Tech & B. Pharm or 1st to 8th semester for B. Arch), they will not be eligible for Separate Supplementary Examination.

Those who will apply for the Separate Supplementary Examinations will not be allowed to apply for Review (PPS/PPR) of the Even Semester Examinations results 2022-2023.
Makaut Supplementary Exam Fees
Fees per semester: Rs 1000/- is for Special Supplementary Examination in MAKAUT. Thats Mean, If you have to Clear 2 Backlogs from two Odd-Even Semester then You Have to Pay Rs- 2000.
Makaut Supplementary Exam Form Fill Up
After notification, for both PPR/PPS and Separate Supplementary Examination, students need to do the following:
- Fill up the FORM from their Student login
- Submit the requisite Fees.
- Submit the Signed Hardcopy of the Form to Exam Cell College Office.
Supplementary Examination (SSE) Exam Center
Separate Supplementary Examination will be held at University campus.
