MAKAUT Online MCQ Exam Pattern [January 2022] Marks Distribution, MAKAUT Odd Semester 2021-22

Finally the Official Decision from MAKAUT,WB - [Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal] out that the Odd Semester exam will Online MCQ Pattern. Appropriate authority of the University has decided to hold Odd Semester (3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th Semester (Odd) Examinations 2021-22) in online mode in view of Covid-19 Omicron Outcome situation as the guidelines of the State Higher Education Department. 
    More Than 200 engineering and professional colleges and their students under the MAKAUT will attend their theory exam @makaut1.ucanapply.com/smartexam/public Online exam portal.
  • The examinations would be in Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) mode.
  • There would be 30 questions of 1 mark and 20 questions of 2 marks with graded difficulty spread over modules of the syllabus.
  • Total time would be 90 minutes.
 Eligible students of regular and back paper candidates for whom admit card would be issued after successful completion of form fill-up process, would be able to appear in the online examinations from their home/ suitable place, with proper ambience of examination through the link available in the login.

Schedule for examination is available in the examination portal/admit card. The process of the online examinations is already familiar to the students as they have already appeared in the odd-Even semester examinations 2020-21. However to become familiar with the system again, students who are willing, may appear in a mock examination session to be conducted as per following schedule for all eligible students.

About The Mock Test - MAKAUT Odd Semester Online MCQ Exam

In Previous Odd/Even Semester [2020-21] The Mock Test Was Mandatory For All Students. But This Even Semester It is Not Mandatory. Only Interested Students May Attend This Mock Test, but All Eligible Students Can Attend This Mock Test. Semester wise MOCK test Date and Time will be updated.

Rules for Makaut Odd Sem Online Examination form Laptop/Mobile

  1. As exam Will held in Online MCQ Mode, Student Have to Attend Through Their LAPTOP/Desktop with good Internet Connection.
  2. Candidates who are going to Sit Examination from the Mobile, Are advised to Use Update Version of Chrome with Enable Desktop Mode.
  3. Laptop/Desktop/Mobile Must Have webcam or Front Camera.
  4. for Disconnection/Reconnection of internet, the Answer will Automatically save in cloud system.
  5. During Examination, there should not be any second Person or  any Extra Gadget/Device.
  6. Students can Keep blank Pages and Pen for doing Rough Work, Calculation and Drawing Sketch if Needed.
  7. After Time Up, The Paper will Automatically Submitted.
  8. Al  technical Support will Available During Online Test. If anything Bad Happen, don't Panic Immediately Contact Exam Support Team.

MAKAUT Odd Semester Online MCQ Exam Guidelines and Instruction on Exam Portal

This is a remote invigilated / proctored exam of  30 questions of 1 mark and 20 questions of 2 marks each. Total time given will be 90 minutes. Please login 30 to 45 min before scheduled start time to complete camera verification process early. You need to take this exam using a Chrome browser on Windows laptop. You will be monitored using the same. Any presence of another person or movement away from the browser tab is not allowed during the duration of the exam. If any such malpractice is noted during / after the exam based on the recorded evidence then the candidates exam maybe cancelled.

Step by Step Process to Download Admit Card - MAKAUT Odd Semester Online MCQ Exam

  1. At first go to The MAKAUT Exam Portal @https://makaut1.ucanapply.com/smartexam/public/  
  2. Then Log in to Student Portal Section with Your University Roll No (ID) and Your Password
  3. After Log in, Click on the Admit Card Section and Wait.
  4. A New page will open with Your Academic Details, Name, College Name, Course and Current Semester. 
  5. In Right side of that Page You will Get the Green Colour "PRINT" Button. Click On it. Your Admit Card will Open Automatically.
  6. Download it or Save it as PDF for Exam Use.

What After That ?
After Downloading Admit Card Check all Your Theory Exam paper Number Carefully, If there have any problem in your Admit card such as: Incorrect Roll No, Wrong Paper name, Wrong semester then Immediately Contact with your Class Representative or Institution. If all Details are correct, then make a print out hard copy for Future Use.

FAQ: Some Frequently Asked Questions

Q1. Will we have to Upload Photo and Signature like Previous Odd semester.
Ans:- You don't have to Upload it, it will remain same as Uploaded on Odd Semester Exam Like. 
If you want to Make Changes then Click on the Dashboard and then click 
"Upload your Photo and Signature"

Q2. I am Showing Error by the Portal, Unable to Download Admit Card.
Ans:- At First Confirm that you Clear all your Fees Both Exam fees and College Semester Fees.
If you Already paid Fees but The Admit Card Not Opening, then Log Out From Portal and Log In again few minutes later. After that if the Error Show again, then Immediately Contact Your College.

Q3. Is the Admit Mandatory for Mock Test Also?
Ans:- The Admit card is not Mandatory for the Mock Test. Either this Mock test is not Also Mandatory this Time.
